Yes there is someone offering off Street parking on Grove Rd/Harman Sts (February quake caused a lot of business to relocate to Addington area hence the congestion of parked cars) which is a great idea and to have more cars off the streets around Grove Rd/Church Square area would be very beneficial for safety reasons. The Addington Neighbourhood Association is holding its monthley meeting on February 29th at 7.30 pm at Manuka Cottage. There is a guest speaker, John Scallon, from the city council He is coming to the meeting to talk about the Selwyn St shoping centre development. Canterbury Farm Day March 18 2012

Thanks to Addington School Newsletter we went to Canterbury Farm Day on Sunday 18 March. It was great FUN for the kids. We saw a sheep get sheared, there was apple bobbing, pony/carridge rides, colouring in competition, bouncing castle, sausage sizzle, only $1 and drinks 50c. It was so affordable being a free entry and you only paid for food and drink. The highlight for my boys was a haystack and having to search for lollypops in it, a kind of lucky dip only you had to get in the hay to find…
